Impressive view for sure Tom. My youngest is staying in a flat above the Scotsman Hotel just now with balcony views over the top of Cockburn Street and across Princes Street. Sadly it doesn't quite see the castle but I'm determined to make something of it before he eventually moves out.
Love the photos! Appreciate the intrepid way you push yourself for the best views. You're much braver than I am in climbing and crawling and leaning and stretching. Well done.
Loved that Tom, haven’t heard “ in your scud” for a long time , we were just talking yesterday ( me and other almost octogenarian Fife pals) about the loss of our local tongue with all its vivid expressions , particularly re the smell from the chip shop “ gaun roond yer hert like a hairy worm”. Those photos were brilliant, thanks for sharing 🌞

Thanks CG, I do like to get unique perspectives whenever possible, and I'm a right nosy bugger too

Not heard that one before Christine, love it. It's our job to keep these words and phrases alive.
Fascinating Tom! The images are amazing. I think you went the extra mile there 😄
cheers Jerry, this could easily have been 3 times longer with many more pics but I had to stop somewhere
The Scott Monument - sun shot is incredible!
Glad you like it Rachel, I love doing this kind of shot, as you can probably tell.
Stunning!😀
You're a poet as well as a photographer -- thank you!
