My newsletter has fresh weekly photo stories of Edinburgh & beyond sent direct by email if you subscribe - free if you choose or pay a wee bit to give me a regular pat on the back.
You suggested I add a wee tips payment option - for when you don’t want, or can’t afford to subscribe but would like to offer something as a “Cheers mate, enjoyed that” gesture. So here is a link to do just that.
Poor fella, looks like he had a good weekend though.
Just a quick note to say thanks to those of you who have helped out selecting winter images for greetings cards, and to say that if you’ve not done so yet you still have a chance to WIN the whole set of 25 cards. Just go to the link below and if your choices are closest to the majority decision you bag the goodies.
I’ll stop counting at midday Tuesday so that we can get things sent off to the printer. We’ll then do the final count, announce the 25 favourites and one of you as the winner. Your comments in the “banter & ill-advised humour “section on there have also been most illuminating. I mean who knew that wombats do cuboid poos?

The whole city is turning…turning colder…turner darker…and turning autumnally and richly resplendent. I personally love this time of year because the gloam hour is the time of evening when there are the most lights on indoors. The roofs and windows of Marchmont are a favourite haunt but do let me know if you see any good Autumn vibe views elsewhere in the city.
I’m going to choose a bunch of Autumn images next for a possible print job, so I’ll put a link up in the next few days for that one too, and you can have a proper rummage.
Taken a couple of years ago on the canal at Harrison, I can still smell the woodsmoke and hear the gentle timpany of rain when I look at this.

Lovely images Tom, especially the last two which really capture the changing season.
I enjoyed looking at your winter images, there were some stunning shots amongst the set and choosing my favourites was difficult. I have always found picking images for cards a challenge as my favourites aren't always the best sellers, but its a great thing to do and I wish you luck with them.
